PROJECT PROPOSAL
-

This is a full walkthrough of the project site. We dig into your challenges and your dreams. We assess your storage systems by evaluating their current functionality and potential. We learn about you, how you interact with your belongings and your spaces. We share ideas and brainstorm potential ways to solve problems and meet your goals. All these details are used to create a personal project proposal. This provides you with an estimate for our services, provide a baseline in defining a budget for overall project costs, and we share our visions on how we can transform your spaces.

-DECLUTTER-

Working through one area at a time, we pull everything out to sort and categorize all the items. We strategize a presentation plan; guide you methodically through the piles; give insight and perspective to overcome barriers. This process helps you have clarity and confidence to make decisions on what to 'keep' and what to 'let go.' We then restage the 'keep' items and manage all the logistics required to remove the 'let go' items. We might be there for 7 hours, but we will only need you for 1 hour to make decisions. 

-DESIGN-

When we restage the 'keep' items, we space plan and zone spaces to create the new 'workflow' on how storage will be utilized moving forward. We stage layouts for arrangement of items and take measurements. Our team then configures storage solutions, source materials and products, procure goods and manage the logistics for delivery and installation. 

-IMPLEMENT-

Once materials and products are received, we coordinate all the appropriate resources to assemble and mount systems into spaces. We layout all the organizing accessories according to the zone plans, transfer belongings into the new arrangement and label accordingly. The final step is presenting you with a transformed space and a walkthrough of your newly organized life!

HOLISTIC APPROACH

We believe the best way to reduce the risk of spaces reverting back, is to find the domino effect and work all the affected spaces. Clutter issues are not siloed into a singular drawer, cabinet or closet. Someone may come to us saying their pantry is what they want to 'fix.' Our response, "we will need to look at where you are storing ALL the kitchen goods and we will need a clear understanding of how the kitchen is being used." This usually includes looking at spaces in a completely separate area. We look at the why and the how because the pantry didn't become a problem overnight.

BOUNDARIES, NOT RULES

People ask us about 'rules'. 'What rule should I follow in making this decision?' 'What's the rule of how many I should  have of this?' Our response, "we don't have RULES." Rules when broken, result in punishment. Rules don't provide any flexibility for individual lifestyles and needs. Our mission is to curate BOUNDARIES with our clients. Boundaries define limits and nurture respect. When we agree on what YOUR boundaries need to be, the organizational systems we create will support those boundaries.

When it comes to getting organized, most people are relatively successful at creating a pile of things to 'let go'. But after that...whatever momentum you did have at the start, dwindles dramatically. The follow up tasks of getting the 'let go' items sorted...to then get those items out of the house, loaded into a vehicle and dropped off at the appropriate locations...takes days, weeks, months (if you are lucky). Then the measuring, the configuring of how the spaces will be used, and the procuring of items that will fit in the drawers, on the shelf, or hold all the stuff you need a bin to hold, can be complicated. Lots of experimental things end up happening during this phase.  Many purchases, many trips, many things never used and many things not returned. It can be frustrating, annoying and there is waste of time and money. Not to mention, the unused and not returned items now become clutter. It becomes counterproductive.

This is why we provide white glove level of service. This is our profession so we are equipped to manage these elements efficiently and without waste. It's Simpli-DONE! ​​
